A Strawberry Grove Porch Swing Introduction
I write sweet romances for the folks who still believe in butterflies, hand-holding, front porch conversations, and the kind of love that makes you smile at your coffee cup like a teenager. My stories are filled with lovable chaos, slow-burn tension, small-town charm, and heroes so swoony you may find yourself looking over at your husband wondering if he knows he’s supposed to be carrying groceries in the rain and giving meaningful speeches. (No pressure, fellas.)
But more than anything, I write stories about love that reflects grace—the kind that reminds us we are growing, learning, and becoming exactly who God created us to be. You’ll find laughter, family, faith, friendship, second chances, and plenty of “for goodness’ sake, just kiss already!” moments tucked between the pages.
I’m a military wife, homeschooling mama of seven, and special-needs twin mama, which means my days are a beautiful blend of lesson plans, therapy appointments, dog hair, paint messes, and wondering who left a cup of something sticky somewhere it absolutely should not be. My house is loud, my sweet tea is necessary, and my laundry pile has developed a personality of its own.
When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me dancing to the hits of the golden age and gospel in a vintage granny nightgown (cause a woman can shake what her mama gave here while cooking supper and still look like a blue-ribbon peach cobbler), thrifting for treasures I didn’t know I needed, attempting sourdough like I haven’t already been humbled by it a dozen times, or researching homeschool curriculum as if I’m about to present my findings to the President of these here United States.
I don’t have a perfectly polished life tied up with a bow—and honestly, I wouldn’t want one. I believe the sweetest stories come from the messy middle. So if you’re looking for faith, laughter, friendship, romance, and an author who will talk about fictional characters like they’re neighbors down the street, share entirely too many pictures of her kids and gush about her husband who is the bees knees, and invite you into her little corner of the world… pull up a chair, honey. There’s always room for one more.
The Story Everyone's Talking About
The Donut Clause: A Sprinkle Sweet Rom-Com
Lucy is the owner of Sugar Rush Donuts, the town’s pride and joy and the legacy her grandmother left behind. She’s twenty-seven, wildly lovable, deeply committed to meemaw hobbies, and physically incapable of swearing. She believes in community, tradition, and the healing power of a perfectly glazed donut. Strawberry Grove is her whole world—and she has zero intention of letting anyone mess with it.
Enter Rowan.
A cold, calculating corporate strategist whose actual job is to mess with it.
Strawberry Grove is just another small town on his modernization hit list—until Lucy, her donut shop, and a town full of aggressively friendly locals get in his way. When Rowan lies about who he is to gain the town’s trust, things spiral quickly. Add in fake dating (for reasons that absolutely make sense at the time), a whole lot of accidental feelings, and a man who did not plan on falling for the town sweetheart… and suddenly Rowan is in way over his very expensive head.
Because lying to a town is one thing.
Lying to the woman you’re falling in love with? That’s a sugar-coated disaster waiting to happen.
